time line of the last 10 months on my fr

In November of 2005 i bought my car from meadens seat in Sway, near Bournmouth, was so pleased the day i got it i couldnt wipe the smile off my face and this is the first picture i took of it!

when i bought it the sales person asked me if i had any plans for it i said " dont think ill need too its fast as it is!"
Two months passed and i didnt do anything apart from fit a strut brace it.

I had saved a bit of money up and i got it remapped by revo all i can say was it was fantastic!

Soon after in about march i had the side stripps colour coded at a local paint shop i got the new strips from seat and sent them to be painted. Took a few pics when they were done and so far is the only cosmetic thing ive done to the car!

Soon after this i had a few problems, i replaced dv for the forge one as i though this was at fault turnned out to be manifold bolts this happenend at the begining of april!
A month passed again with no mods then at the start of May i smoothed my airbox and fitted cupra intake and green pannel filter. I then went to my first meet at the fairmile and thats when things started to happen!!!
I had the car pc'd by a member off detailing world and got it all ready for the summer!

Next thing was a milltek cat back system, a birthday pressent to myself. This was fitted day before my birthday with the help of spaniels fr, j@mes, jordan pd, and Stretch, next day was rolling road day where the car produced 203 bhp twice one after the other!

I was loving the car at this point but i was hooked with buying things for it so next was the forge fmic and the most ive spent on the car in one go!

Two weeks later i ordered my milltek downpipe and cat and sounded great

Next on the list was revo stage two and after i got it set up properly by kev it was and still is very quick, makes me smile all the time
but the brakes were not liking the extra power so along came the tt set up 312mm brakes

That is it to date and i think it will be it for this year apart from new tyres and road tax!!!! ive also fitted a boost gauge above my sterio and had a play with a halfords cone filter but that wont be going back on!!!!!
and its also been rebadged

to be honest thats it for the rest of the year and im not sure if i will be doing anything else, suspention will be next if i do anything. Over the next 3 months it tyres road tax (£190) then its x mas and need to pay off a few things so can only spen a few quid hear and there!

Nice mods.. What was the cost for the forge FMIC?

erm i got it in a group buy but the normal cost is around 700 pounds so pretty expensive think i paid about 590!!

yes they are expensive but you can get the seat sport one off the cupra for around 500 i think so both options are fairly expensive but give great results and allow the car to run better settings when remaped

Btw. you got the partnumber for the Green panelfilter? Can't seem to find at panel filter for the Mk4 1,8 20VT

on this forum there is a section called badger5 post and ask in there i cant remember the part number sorry but you can buy them off him and is a very good person to deal with

ive got a different head unit and a sub but not over the top and the way i se it i bought the car because i loved the look of it so why change it! makes me thing why chavs buy corsas and saxos and spend ages trying to make them not look like one!
