tbh, It matters not to me what car failled - there's enough news out there on dedicated sites about people continuing their lap with a buggered car.
Just that IMO, a failure means pull over & stump the recovery fee rather than drive slowly to get off the track **potentially** adding risk & danger to others
granted, not a fluid drop - but PFS all the same

I think the point that he was making was that it's the fact that there was a mechanical failure, that could have dumped fluids - not that the value of the car affected that.
