Was putting the foot down a little and after i changed into 3rd and put the power back down it crunched and revved straight up to the limit. After taking it to the end of the street to pin point the exact symptoms ive figured out that it will be fine and then suddenly make a crunching noise like its half in gear half out and the revs go up and the car doesnt move. the gear stick doesnt move when its doing this. Took the gearbox out the same night and took it apart today and cant see any real definitive problem that could be causing this. The selector forks are loose on the synchros but i have no reference. The diff bearings seem a little worn so il replace them but i cant find the exact problem if anyone can shed some light based on the symptoms or anything i can check on the gear set?
