the thing with a lot of tuning boxes is that they just dump fuel in

Yeh a lot of people have mentioned the TMC one but I think the DTS one looks better value for money.
The only thing that's bugging me is concerns of the gearbox not being able to withstand the increased torque, but I'm thinking with the remaps out there that don't mention the requirement for upgraded hardware and tuning boxes available that are effectively stage 1 in a box it shouldn't be an issue?

You'd be lucky to find a tuning box that'll push the boundaries of your gearbox. It's more likely to damage your engine.
