I’ve got a mk6 68 plate FR, with the 18” seat accessory wheels fitted. Just wondering if anyone knows anywhere I can buy the 18” optional wheels as I prefer them, however it’s like trying to find a 5 legged horse at the minute

Could try asking in the Listers or Hortons section of the forum. Or if your in a rush, give them a call. Mike@Listers has sourced parts for me before that have had to come directly from Spain. So might be able to help.

Only thing is, coming direct from SEAT themselves they’re asking for £600 a corner... was hoping for some used but good condition ones, possibly refurbed.

Not easy task find proper wheels for new ibiza. I had also original 18" ibiza wheels but i sold em. Got aftermarket 18" wheels and just got 17" wheels for winter tyres, was last set from ATS factory, i was told.

InterAction has Impreza Gold and Bronze 7,5x18" 5x100 et48 sets. I got gold ones.

Lot of pages shows et35 wheels to this car but if original wheels are 7x18" et51 then et35 no good..

For winter tyres i got ATS Streetrallye White 7x17" 5x100 et45

May I ask, do those of you with 18" wheels have any issues with road noise?
The general teaching is that, the wider the wheel, the greater the din, so I'm wondering if anyone has gone from 17" to 18" and
found an appreciable difference .
Thanks.

I have Michelin Pilot Sport 4 215/40/18 tyres on 18" wheels. I dont know about noise(is there more than usually). I would gone for 19" wheels if there would been any with right specs and cheaper than OZ wheels.

About noise, sure there is noise but i dont know is it more than normal cos i dont have 15" wheels and 55 serie tyres to compare or so.. Thats why i got Beats audio system that i listen music loud and no need to worry about road noise :bounce:

The particular tyre will make more difference to road noise than whether it is a 17 or 18. For instance I am on OEM Bridgstone Potenza RE050A and they make a racket. My last OEM tyre from SEAT (in the exact same size) was a Continental PremiumContact 2 which was quiet.
