Getting its first service and was looking at the service book.. What the f*@$ do they do for the £125 ?

1. Drain old oil out
2. Replace oil filter
3. Fill up wi new oil
4. Look out window
5. Scratch ass
6. Put a 'Next service sticker' on door frame
7. Check glove box light!!! :wtf:

Not a lot really.

It actually mentions glove box light, might get them to instal one first.

@Nath Very true mate

@techie I do realise there is a cost for all that and it probably does mount up to that but its still not a lot of value. mind am scottish.. ;-)

I take it they will do any ECU updates without asking/charging me?

To be fair £125 is quite cheap for a main dealer service! If it had a VW or Audi badge you'd probably be paying near double for the same thing. What matters more is the stamp in the book.

My first service was only £100 ... be sure to ask them for the remainder of the oil from the 5ltrs...you are paying for it! There is probably close to a litre left in the container ... I got the remainder given to me in my last service ... it came in handy, especially the way these 1.4tsi go through oil ;)

Ok so am just back from Dealers. I said to the guy about latest software updates etc and he just curled his bottom lip and shook his head. Seems they dont update the software routinely and also my new brake pedal cover is on back order.. :(

Will see what he says when i go to pick it up again. I also mentioned Revo and it didn't really concern him a lot.. interesting... ;-0
