Afternoon peeps hope everyone is well. The dipstick on my 2008 Cupra is broken so ordered an ECS billet one from Awesome gti for the EA888 and it's too big to go in the tube. They also list one for an EA113 so I'm thinking they changed the dipstick tube size on the facelift. Question is if I get the EA888 dipstick tube will it fit?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The EA888 dipstick tube is longer and a different shape as it comes out in a different place on the engine so no, they aren't a direct swap.

Send the dipstick back and buy the correct one for your engine instead.

Well I assume that's the correct one for the EA113 engine?

The dipsticks are different lengths EA113 vs EA888 due to the dipstick tube taking a different route and coming out at a different place on the engine.
