Hi , I have a problem with the drivers seat Belt when unfitting the belt it would not retract back to the door post properly . I did notice that under the bolt that secures it to the door pillar it would not swivel properly there is a round disc / plate , I had a new belt fitted £285 and the swivel round plated that the bolt goes through is very stiff , The passenger side moves correctly , Do you think that the garage overtightened the bolt or should there be a collar allowing the bolt and round plastic plate to swivel ?
I can only see a bolt in the workshop manual that goes through the plastic circle that bolts to the door pillar.
is there something missing, The new seatbelt is doing what the old one is doing . Any pictures etc would be appreciated
