For the record that blue line you see on the inbuilt sat nav on VAG cars is the computer generated artistic 3D line for the horizon / cloud cover. It's been reported for years on these cars. Some twitty people think it's a technical issue and it's not the horizon - the flat earth brigade.
If you think about it, in 3D representation with a tilt zoomed out enough in daylight you would expect to see the sky represented. That's what it's trying to do. It also cunningly gives a light blue line at the top to make the top of the screen more readable. It is more pronounced on standard units to the high unit. Both show it.
You can toggle between 2D and 3D top left on the screen. If you select a destination via the screen you normally toggle to 2D then toggle to 3D after selection. You keep split screen on.
Auto zoom is actioned by pressing the box with the metre / feet distance in it, right side. A line round the box means auto zoom is on. Get on a road if you are off a digitised road and auto zoom kicks in.
