Hi

I just bought these (SP81-052) off someone who sold them as 40/30 for an LCR

Is it correct that the car hasn't dropped at all? - sitting a bit higher if anything (front end)

Any help much appreciated

Thanks

Obviously that's 40mm lower from standard leon height so would I be able to fit 50mm ap springs to the shocks I have?

Can you supply just ap front springs, not all four?

Thanks

We fitted these this weekend to Ash car, the back has a noticeable drop but the front sits higher than the standard cupra r suspension, even with the shorter new top mounts. And the suspension has not settled any lower.

SP81-052 I think this was the kit originally bought from yourselves back in early 2012.
Not entirely sure though

Would the exiting ap shocks with the 40mm springs be suitable for the 50mm springs.

I will get the existing individual spring part number later- see if they actually are the 40mm ones!

The number part is unclear on both springs. Has the center section missing from every digit.

My guess is
VWG/Q VA 28V11 but could be 23v11 or 20v11. Familiar with any of these?

Thanks

Hi Damian.

How much should 50mm AP front springs lower my LCR by (from standard)?

How much would they cost?

Basically I only wanted to find out what springs I have because if they ARE 40mm lowering then 50mm will only give me 10mm on what I have now which would be no good!

This way is taking for ever so i you could fill me in on these questions that would be great!

Thanks
Ash

Morning,

AP have said they're going to need to know the exact part number on the springs to confirm anything.

The lowest springs they do for the LCR are the 40mm which should give the LCR around a 20mm drop, a set of 50mm springs will only give a further 10mm drop so 30mm overall.

There's a few pictures here of the LCR lowered on Weitec 50mm/40mm springs.
