Ive got an 02 Ibiza TDI 130 sport and its coming upto 60K service.

What needs to be replaced and where is the cheapest place to get parts?

Cheers

Yep its a Major Service, Cambet and Water Pump is advisable for a non-plastic one (but SEAT dont tell you this).

Give Mike a call from JBS mate, theyre very close and everyone i know with SEATS in the area go there - very good prices and true Experts.

If you get it booked in on a weekend, let some people know in the JBS section and we could always come down to say hello!

Had my big service at 60k, luckily the previous owner paid for it, as it was £750, but this was for cambelt, brakes, water pump, brake fluid etc etc.

which means this time its only £89 including MOT!

plus however much the knocking rear suspension is gonna cost, DOH!

If you know how to wield a small spanner, then changing the brake fluid is dead easy - just need a litre of brake fluid and a Gunsons's Eezibleed pressure bleeder. Oh and a jam jar to capture the old fluid.

If the car's out of warranty you've nothing to lose...plus you'll know it's been done properly.
When a certain dealer "changed" my brake fluid, I had a nosey underneath to find only one of the bleed nipples had been touched
