Accessing space under head unit

Hi,

I'm convinced my wife dropped my iPod in the gap under the head unit (can't see where to upload a photo....). Any ideas how to get into this? Model is Toledo 2003 2.3 v5.

Did it go through the home where the headunit fits ?
i don't have any holes on my dash big enough to take an iPod

Yes, so where the cigarette lighter is under the head unit......just above it there is a small space. In between the lighter and the head unit basically.

It's just big enough for an iPod touch to fall into.
