Additional fuse holder. Any ideas!?

Would anyone know why I might have an inline fuse from the back of my fuse board that seems to just create an extra loop? It’s been solder spliced to what looks like the standard wires so I’m perplexed as what it could be for? It’s melted so want to remove it but not sure what it does/did! Could it be giving a live feed to a switched live?

The fuse is completely melted mate otherwise that would have been a good shout. Was hoping to trace it to identify what it does but it just seems to jump power to another cable (photo). Only thing I can think of it’s part of the autowindow reflex module but I can’t find any manuals or installs online (those that are around the photos and links don’t work).
