Advice on DSG Issue

Hey all,

New to the forums and recently purchased a 10 plate boca. So the DSG box is acting up,

1,3 and 5 are fine, although it judders into first from a standing start.
There is a rattle noise when in 2, 4 or 6 and reverse.
The DSG current gear indicator is flashing.

Has anybody had a similar issue ie, noise in those gears and flashing who could perhaps point me in the right direction as to what could be wrong.

To be honest this could be anything from one of the dual clutches playing up, or the ECU starting to fail which apparently can happen.

DSG 7 gearbox fault

Common problem for Audi / VW group DQ200 gearbox. Faults will prevent gear engagement and will store fault codes for pressure issues

I'd get the ECU scanned for any fault codes if any, but if you don't have your own scan tool then take your car to your local trusted garage.
