Advice Please - Ibiza Wing Mirror Damage

Hi,

Would appreciate any advice please.
Something hit my Ibiza wing mirror and the mirror and electrics are undamaged. The photos attached show the assembly that goes into the door has partially come away.

Any advice would be appreciated as don't want to use to much force to try and get it re-seated and crack the whole unit.

Hi,

I’ve got the exact same problem with mine! After taking my mirror off it looks like the bracket/panel underneath is bent out of shape.

I’ll let you know how I get on with it.

My bodywork guy fixed it - I think he had to reshape the bracket - there was an issue with a self locking nut attached to the bracket so he had to weld a new one on.
