Hi, first post so be gentle!

Im new to Seat having come from owning Audi's in the past and am very impressed with the Leon with regards to looks and standard kit etc. I have just ordered (last week) a 1.8 Tsi FR with a few options and been told that its usually 10 to 12 weeks delivery which is fair enough. When ordering I couldn't make my mind up about the colour ie Black or Red, I eventually went for the Black one. The dealer has got a brand new Red one in the showroom, IF I changed my mind and decided to change and go for the Red one do you think that's possible or is it set in stone when you order one ie you can't change your mind.

Just wondered if anybody else had done this

No mate, I think your pretty much set now.
Ive known people get away with changes after ordering, but thats been with big Dealerships that were ordering in bulk.

Cheers

Hi! I done exactly the same thing yesterday. Ordered the car in Nevada White only to phone up today and change to emocion red. The dealer initially said i couldn't because he had just placed the order only to phone back 5 minutes later and say until they put the production into order I can change what I like. So my advice would be to give them a call ASAP!

Good luck! All i done last night was red....white....red lol I considered the black but I thought some of those angles and lines on the Leon weren't as distinct with the darker colour. Good luck :)

I guess because the factory is closed for its summer break, all orders are in limbo at the moment. What the dealer will be willing to change is up to them I guess.

I was also considering to call the dealer to get the red one instead, settled with the white one. I'm seeing a lot of white Leon s around town now.

I think they'll look awesome in both colours to be honest. Just a matter of personnel choice :)

Didn't know about the factory shutdown, when does it restart? I suppose this has a bad effect on orders - could do without that

Apparently the factory is closed for all of August. Obviously the Spanish couldn't possibly work the full year lol
