Alhambra 2001 1.8 petrol

On starting from cold there is a noise that sounds like an exhaust "rasp" from the front end. Took it to the exhaust man, but by then the system was warmed up, and no leaks were found. The same thing happens continually - but I've stopped going to the exhaust man !! What else might it be ?

I know that the turbo to manifold mounting bolts can come loose. other than that maybe it's a loose exaust heat shield ?

The heat shield is O.K. but am unsure where the turbo/exhaust bolts are, not being familiar with the mechanics of it.
Is it likely that the bolts have come loose after 8 years of motoring or could it be a problem with the turbo itself ?
