Hi all,
so had this altea for just over a year now, great car.
But, its always had a hollow 'knock' from the NSF suspension over uneven surfaces.
Just passed its MOT with no advisories, and I mentioned this knock to the tester who could find nothing wrong.
But its been there since Ive owned it.
Not ball joint, not drop link. They were fine on the shaker plate. So I'm at a bit of a loss. Was rather hoping some of you clever folk may be able to shed some light?
One thing I have noticed, applying the footbrake makes no difference, but apply power (for example up a hill) and it stops immediately.
TIA
Russ
