I know I only have a 1.4 but Ive been getting really good fuel economy in it.

Using my car everyday for work so driving easy an Ive done 125 miles since Sunday and I havent used quarter of a tank yet. And it was full when I started.

for some reason 60mph on the motorway gives me about 33-35mpg, but 55mph in 5th going down the back roads i get nearly 44mpg.

22.7 with careful driving until engine blew up  what a way to go! dissapointed there was no flames since there was so much petrol flowing through the engine.

New record for me, this weekend I did; Loughborough to Luton, Luton to Preston, Preston to Leeds, Leeds to Loughborough.

I would know exact mileage but when I started my car in snowy Leeds this morning my clock and trip reset!

Anyway I have a rough estimate of about 500miles. And I used 38.5 litres so I managed to get 59.04 MPG!!!

New record for me :) That's with driving on motorways about 70-75mph most of the time.
