Anyone else had problems with the Navigation System?

The other day I got in the car and programmed a friends new address into the built in sat nav and then after about 10 mins driving in the general direction of his house realised that there was no directions being offered, looked down and the map was showing that I was still sitting at my driveway at home!

I pulled up and turned off the ignition so that everything went off for about a minute, started back up to find the map still showing the same location, travel distance and arrival time as if I were still at my home sitting in the drive (I was actually 3 miles away)

I ended up using google maps on my phone to get me there but it still isn't working after about 5 days and multiple trips (some long distance and some short)

Any ideas before I have to take it back to Seat (through a leasing company so get the feeling it will be a pain in the arse).

Try removing the SD card with the map info on and re inserting it may "reset" it,otherwise book it in at SEAT,wont be a pain just phone up and book it in,you wont have to contact your lease company at all.

Try hitting the car logo on the right of the screen, had this happen to me and appears to cycle through different modes inc North up, and direction of travel...

Sounds like a glitch to me. I tried to work my way out of the navigation system but it seems that it's cheaper to have it with the technology pack than not. Always have Google Maps as backup.

Justba little update, had this booked in to get sorted by seat but It has since sorted itself.

Its as if my car was struggling to find the satellites as every few days the location woukd change, some times to somewhere I habe been in the carvand other times to places I haven't. Also while it was knackered if I put the navigation on the compass wouldn't change orientation no mater whatbway I was heading.....

Glad I checked it every few days as after checking bitbabfew days back it has been working perfectly since. Although I still think its a bit strange how every time youbuse a postcode it just says 'no house numbers available for this street' or words to that effect.......
