AP caliper clearance - wheel choices

Morning all, I know there is the 'wheel thread' already about fitment but that's just the common sense how many bolt holes, what offset etc, nothing specific to the cupra brakes really.

Now everyone I know that had TT comp's or vRS spiders have now sold these so I'm not able to test fit over the AP brakes!

Could anyone answer for those 2 wheels along with others that 100% fit over the brakes:
I've seen the 18x8 CH's do, but all other wheels that fit over them, with:
Original wheel spec
Spec required to fit, eg spacers

Hopefully made into a useful thread?

i think alot more wheels fit over the ap racing brakes than ppl think, my porsche D90 16" alloys fit with a 30mm adapter! is very tight and the caliper has to be slightly modified but they do!

For the cupra in particular?
I had a search an all I found was the general wheel sticky which is common sense on fitment not really specific clearance issues.

it was a list of wheels that fit over the ap calipers on the cupra ill have another look.

There has been one for ap brakes before as people have said.

Audi tt comps fit, s3 wheels fit. Pro race 1.2's fit in 7.5x17 et30, compomotive mo's do in same specs in et35 even. All Porsche wheels will in 16' or above

Cheers for that Scott, had another search for the thread but nothing so I'll just do some trial and error and hopefully not lose to much money lol.

Would have needed 10mm ones so wasn't an option

not too bad tho! my mate has 45mm adapters on the front of his mk4 golf lol! bolt of spacers may b worth looking into! u take any pics of the wheels on? i was looking at a set a few months ago.

It is bad when standard wheels rub over bumps don't forget these were et35 and not et55 etc like wheels that need adapted on. And stretching tyres isn't an option either haha

ye good point, not going to get much stretch on an 7" rim. wat u wheels thnking next then?

Just keeping standards and spending the money on other bits. If I end up getting wheels in the future I'll end up with pro race 3's or splash out and go compo mo5's

Not yet, refurbing them this weekend/ next week then will tyre them up and hope they look decent.

Also, are they 16 or 17"? There doesn't look to be much clearance around the outside of the disc...

Hurry up and refurb them!
