Are these serious faults?

Hi All,

So went and got my dpf removed and stage 2 remap, dyno had a read of 207bhp from 165 so quite impressed.However just prior to having it done the guys at NV too a diagnostic and got the following errors, they state these arent serious which i looking at some navigate ie i can see there pojnt, however can anyone advise if any of the below could cause future issues?

01-Engine -- Status: Malfunction 0010 (presume this is resolved now dpf removed and didnt come up again)
37-Navigation -- Status: Malfunction 0010
46-Central Conv. -- Status: Malfunction 0010
56-Radio -- Status: Malfunction 0010

The intake manifold runner controller is a little device which open and closes the flaps within the manifold, if the motor is at fault it will basically cause you to lose compression within the cylinders, resulting in a loss of power and poor idling. Mine failed and I had it replaced, I bought a second hand one on eBay for £35, it's a really fiddly job, not difficult but requires a lot of patience and small hands.

So im guessing this one could crop up again as its not DPF related, did you get limp mode?

I'm assuming you have VCDS from your print out, so why don't you do a test on the motor to see it's efficiency? It'll tell you a percentage of how well it's operating

I dont have VCDS unfortunatly the diagnostic was done by the mappers prior to them removing the DPF just to ensure there was nothing else.

The diagnostic after then no longer shows this fault but only the nav/radio and centconv errors.

The code should reappear once the car has been restarted as the fault will re-register on the ECU. It may be worth getting it scanned again, if it has reappeared it will need to be replaced, as it will lead to poor performance. I don't know how difficult it is to change on the TDI as mine was on the TFSI. Maybe some of the diesel boys can shed some light on it.
