They launched AML shares on the 5th October 2018 at £17.00 and now as I post on 27th January 2019 they're at £12.25
They went into freefall straight away. The market decides the value and I guess AML seriously over estimated theirs.

I would agree but add into that BREXIT (and lets not talk about that here) has hit the UK Market so lots of very good stocks have suffered.
Car Companies and Football Teams strike me as relying on people being committed to the brand and for this car company its a very small pool.

As the warnings always say investments can go down as well as up.

Brexit has nothing to do with it, they massively over valued the company. If B was an issue for them why did they list a company so soon before the B-Day? but it really wasn't. Other market factors influence this way more.

Well Aston does have the worlds biggest band of test drivers ...every single customer
Awesome cars, beautifully put together....but brutal running costs :headhurt: and I think the first time they ever made a profit was about 2009 ...but there is always some gazzilionaire ready to buy the company every-time it runs out of cash, which I think its great

Really worrying times for AML share holders, shares have dropped further so really hope the DBX picks them up. Currently at £4.68 on 3rd August 2019.
Can you even imagine the hurt if you had shares at £17 and kept them.... gutted doesn't even begin to describe it. However if you sold all at £16 ish you'd be laughing now.
Makes me wonder how lower can they go?

Oddly European Strategic Investment Group were interested in buying back into the company.

I suspect the price has further to fall, short term economics suggest that good news is not around the corner.

Just come back to this old thread and now in Sept 2020 AML shares are at 55p, they've been lower but who would of thought that they'd drop to this level, £17.00 launch less than 2 years ago. DBX now in production, hopefully enough wealthy folk want one.

I wonder if this will change when they launch their F1 team next year, when Racing Point become Aston Martin officially?

At the price the shares are at now though, it kinda explains why Laurence Stroll decided they were a company worth investing in maybe?
