Looks like Rob Austin racing are gonna run a couple of ngtc A4's next year. Love these new ngtc rules :D
(The picture shows the last generation A4, its only an artists impression. I would imagine it'll be the current generation A4)

Would imagine it would look something more like this

Without the huge spoiler and extra wings on the sides :cartman:

Back from the dead
Crazy wings, and thanks in part I think to the Alfa 155 Ti v6 that kicked off the panel extension fest back in the 90's:

Great to see Audi back, even if Quattroless (at least they won't be forced to carry a weight penalty like back in the day of the Frank Biela

Rear wheel drive as well - now that's something different.

You mean that's something that's going to be uncompetitive & slow?

That engine is way forward in the nose, so they'll work hard to counter the understeer on it, coupled with making it "loose" it will be slow.

Yes - "That engine is way forward in the nose," is presumably why they have gone down this route.

No, the reason they had to go that way was because no Longitudinal gearbox, FWD layout exists... So they have to use it

Ah so that's why! Thanks, as I've been wondering what this was all about. Motor sport is full of optimists.

Sadly I think it was a case of committing to a bodyshell & then actually reading the rules...

Regardless of what PR they spout about how they're going to show all the neigh sayers

NGTC has two gearboxes available in the kit.. Longitudinal RWD, Transverse FWD

No other gearboxes are available, so the Audi must run RWD
