Auto dim side mirrors for Mk2 Toledo/ Mk1 Leon

Hello. I recently fitted my Toledo with an A6 4F auto dim black interior mirror. I had to get the metal support to glue on my windshield and just plug in the mirror. I previously had a broken auto dim mirror. Now I would really like to get auto dimming side mirrors, but I couldn't find any info about any mirror glass that fits. Did anyone do this mod or has any knowledge about the glass? Thank you

They were never available for these cars as far as I'm aware and I've never even heard of anyone converting some from another model or marque.
It might be worth investigating the Audi parts bin but I doubt it's going to be particularly straight forward.

The wiring doesn't scare me, not even the back plastic support, I can cannibalize my mirrors and retrieve the bracket, all I need is a mirror glass with auto dimming and heating that can fit inside my mirror case. I will keep looking and update if I find anything.
PS. I am also working on moving an entire MMI 3G High with Bose to my Toledo, and I will make a thread as soon as I finish. I don't think anyone has done this before

Cool, I'm always interested in these kind of modifications so keep us updated on any progress if possible.
I just had to Google the MMI 3G high thing...now that would be pretty slick with the modern rotary control.

By the way what made you go with the Audi A6 auto dim rear view mirror when these cars had their own type?
I'm assuming your Toledo is the V5 which had factory auto dim mirror and MFD sat nav?
