Automatic lights always on

Just bought my dad's FR+ there the other day. A problem he has always had with it is that when you select automatic lights with the selector the xeon's are always on regardless if the sun is shining. Is this a problem or is there something else we have missed?

If they are the day running lights aka drl's they are ment to be on

Can you see the sensor in the left/right corner of the windscreen?
Have it had the windscreen changed? If so the sensor could been tucked in the roof.

This is exactly what I was looking for, was reading your other thread. Any luck on changing the sensitivity?
