Hi Guys!

Our first baby is due in August and im keen to get a cover for the rear seats and shades for the windows. Does anyone have any recommendations for ones that fit well?

Cheers!

James

Tint the windows shades dont work. Get some Carbon or Nano Tint. For the seats buy a black blanket thats big enough to cover the back and the seats, cut some holes and stick the head rest throug, it will keep it in place. Job done.

Where are you mate? I have a couple of Lindam seat covers making my garage look untidy that you can have.
Used them for both our kids and saved my leather seats on a number of cars. Car seat sits on top of them.

Thanks for the offer but looks like you are North East?

Im in gloucester so couldnt get much further away unless i was in cornwall

These look good though i will have a look online for something similar. Im guessing the isofix goes through ok?

I wouldn't worry too much about these things until at least the January sales.

Your little one will be pretty much wedged into their rear facing seat quite snuggly until then. Any poo or vomit covers their child seat instead. They tend to sit quite deeply in their group 0 seats and the handles commonly have shades in them so window shades are unnecessary, especially as you head into winter when it's mostly grey and miserable or gets dark early. If you have a travel system you'll tend to lift them in and out with the seat anyway. My daughter was born in august, ask me how I know :D

I did tint the windows in my last car but only when my daughter got into a front facer. It was a right PITA to do and I have since discovered diono static shades which are mega cheap.

No probs. They're available from Kiddicare and Amazon I seem to remember and don't cost the earth. Isofix was no problem and they gripped both alcantara and leather well.
