Basingstoke Dealer Gone Bust

City Motor Holdings are now in receivership.
That means no Seat, Skoda, Ford, Citroen, Peugeot, Honda dealers in Basingstoke.
Nearest Seat dealer is 13 miles away, so no more pick up and return.
I am hopeful that someone will buy it.

dealers normally go up to 20 miles collect and delivery, would think the one 13 miles away would do it if you were spending 2-300 quid on a major service

I recently travelled 25 miles to seat dealer for service. Dealer offered collection drop-off service. If they want your business they will offer.

Yep... I turned up on the Thursday morning for a service. From the looks of things they'd only just told their staff that morning as well. Felt so bad for them - but then I was pretty pissed off they didn't tell me either.

SEAT UK weren't particularly helpful either, I went over to Skoda in Newbury for the service instead. Nice guys to deal with.

Try SMC in Aldershot or Woking, I have just brought my Cupra 290 DSG from them, previously had a FR from them, great service from my experience.

we used snows in Southampton which is over 30 miles from our home address and they gave us the option of pick up/delivery or a courtesy car. sadly our more local dealer in wallop is no longer a franchised Seat dealer just a specialist now and don't cover warranty work if you need any. We never used Basingstoke as we didn't get very good reviews on them for servicing etc
