would bbs alloys from a mk2 golf fit on the beeza? i know the stud patterns the same but i'm wondering about the offset, maybe some spacers? (i'm sick of buying 17" tyres and i've decided to jack my job in and go and get an education....) thanks

Ive got mk2 golf BBS alloys on mine, no probs at all mate :D
what ones you goin for?

i'm thinking 14s for the cheap tyres but i think 15s will look better if i can find some, i put the standard steel wheels on last weekend as i had some suspension trouble and the difference in the handling and ride of the car was amazing, it used to shake like a b*****d with 17s but now it feels loads more planted

Not as yet, I'll do some tomorrow morning for you though mate.
My set is the 15" BBS RA's, the ride is definitely an improvement over the stock wheels and I think i prefer them to 17's too (tried some of my mates wheels out).
Definitely would recommend 15s over 14s, if for no other reason than for vanity's sake. Anything less than 15 really doesnt do the car justice, and rubbers aren't that much cheaper for 14s.
Picked up my alloys at a scrappy up north and reconditioned them best I can for the moment.
Planning a bigger polished rim with painted spokes after I get the car lowered, but time and money are both lacking at the moment unfortunately :(
