Hi,

Just had tow bar fitted and not sure if they have not replaced something.
under the rear of the car (on the drivers side) there is a plastic covering.
1. On the passenger side where the exhaust is there isn't on my car ?

also .
2. When I press and hold for 10 sec remote to unlock car my windows would unlock.
3. Press and hold 10 sec to lock and wing mirrors will not fold in.

I think I need to redo these via the caristaapp.

Hi mate that will probably be as a result of the tow bar being fitted as the rear bumper had to come off to install. Either it couldn’t be refit due to the front part now hitting the tow bar or the garage didn’t refit it. Best to contact them to give them a chance to make good on it buddy.

Agreed, my folding never mirrors did anything useful until I enabled them in Carista, now they fold out when I unlock and fold in when I lock. You could turn them on and off in the car's setup menu but it did bugger all.

Thanks is something missing then.

Can someone photo there part under car so I can see what it looks like.

Seriously pissed off as they fitted the wrong the tow bar which they said will sort out and the rear light isn't put back in correct. It slips out.

That’s not good mate hope they’ll sort it out for you. Doesn’t fill you with confidents is there anyway then can check and prove the wired socket is working as it should be? I’d hate for you to not use the tow bar for afew months only to realise the wiring had issues.

I would say by those 2 photo’s looks like they have done a slap dash rushed job, rear light could be broken and that bit of trim probably just got ripped out of the road.

One of the most satisfying things Seat have fixed;

In my 67 plate Leon FR the mirrors wouldn't fold in unless you held the lock key for a few seconds.

Now my 69 plate Leon Cupra, they fold on one click of the lock.
