I had Pirellis on my car once. They didn't even last 10,000 miles - more like 6-7k. They weren't anywhere near as good as the Michelin Pilot Sport either.

Pirelli
Wear quickly with pretty good grip generally.

Toyo
Proxies
Look mean but have zero grip in the wet.

Unioryal
Rain sports
Are decent and work well in adverse weather. Cheap ish too.
.
Yokohama Fleva V701
Great all round
Tops in the wet. Their newest compound to date.
Not expensive either.

Pilot Sport
Great if affordable.

Yokohama AD08RS
Brilliant in the dry.
Pretty impressive in the wet but not to be pushed too hard as semi slick style.

Badger5 Custom Map + TIP,
3”Custom exhaust, FMIC, Bosh 550’s, BC Coilovers, ARB’s +loads more.

Looking forward to reading some suggestions on this thread. I'm running Goodyear EfficientGrip on mine. They're super quiet and have great grip but they're on ~10,000 miles and looking like they need to go already .

Michelin Pilot sport 4 if budget allows, these are unbelievably grippy for a road tyre.
Next best for a daily performance tyre imo is the Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetic series.
I've run the 3 and 4 and they're great for the money.

Bridgestone Potenza aren't bad either. If memory serves, that's what SEAT delivered the car with - there's one on my spare anyway. Not exactly performance minded though.

Just made me smile.
Here’s the two choices...
And the reply was something completely different, that’s all.

Bruce R is correct though, if money allows
PS4 are the way to go.
I’m getting some for mine when the Dunlop sport maxx that are on now need changing.

Unless you mean PS4s the PS4/ASY5/Contis are all good in different areas.

Ive got the Toyos on my car at the moment and ive never owned a car/tyre that grips so well. Although very worn.
Never used them in the rain, not in anger anyway.
Thats why they were one of the options and P Zeros are great but wear very quickly (i did not know that).

Anyway, ive just ordered a set of 4 Michelin pilot sports. Should keep me out of trouble lol

Cheers for your input all.
Nice to see we dont all think the same.
