Hi guys (and gals?),
Not long had my 2.0TDi BKD (Altea) and noticed it has used a bit of water, and oil. There's no mayo but having checked it's got an "A" revision head on it, so it's probably leaking internally I'd guess?
So, I've resigned myself to the fact that one day, probably in the very near future I'm going to have to have the head changed at vast expense on what was meant to be a reliable engined car
However, I want to know if I can extend the time before the inevitable happens? Does anyone know if these "head gasket fix" fluids coat the inside of the head enough to prevent it being as porous? Or am I just clutching at straws? Something like the Steel Seal Head Gasket Repair maybe?
Thanks in advance!
