Hi All,

I have have moved form the MK 2 to the MK 3 Leon and i love it.

I have recently upgraded my phone from a windows OS to a Samsung S5 which is Androin (4.4.2)

Since the move i havent been able to get the car to read out the any text that i recieve.

I have paired the phone and it works for call's but not for text.

I didnt have to do anything on the windows ophone it just worked.

has anyone had the same issue?

thanks
Gar

That's because it was Windows Phone that was reading out the texts, not the car itself

download one of many apps for android that read out texts, link your phone via bluetooth.
as long as you are on the bluetooth audio mode in your car it will read your texts out.

The functionality built into windows phone will interrupt whatever mode you are in, just like a phone call. You can also reply via voice recognition. All built in to the OS, the only thing the car contributed is the microphone and speakers
