Nah still no go :( Dont really know what to suggest now, only that volksbits mite of sent me the wrong ones?
The only other thing is to cut abit off the bit that the bottom of the lifter joins on too, then it would fit, but i dopnt really fancy doin that lol..

it is possible uv been sen wrong kit but tbh i was given the wrong kit at first but it was the bolts which differed, the lifters were no different

u sure its nothing else obstructing the hood?

mine are vertually straight, and never had to remove any foam.
only thing it looks like is that the bonnet mounting points are on the inside and not on the outside of the hinge like they should be( maybe its just the photo), or that volks have sent the wrong ones

deffo turn them around tho ;)

will have a look at mine tomorrow and get some photos if i can.
if you have them off the car, give some measurements, diameters+length and i'll compare to mine..can see if there the wrong ones!
