Bonnet vents

This is going to be a hate it or love it topic. But has anyone ever put focus Rs bonnet vents on their cupra/r?

Looks nice up front, but in overview...Ill pass It does serve a purpose though

I read bonnet vents and presumed I'd hate them. But I actually really like them!

They're fairly polarising. But no1 who's seen them in person thinks they look bad lol.
And I didn't do it for looks. It was all about temps for me

It's not something that can really be measured. But when you feel the heat coming out of them, they're working

why not just chuck a couple of washers under the bonnet hinges? at least it will vent out some of the gases lol

It doesn't though. If you study aerodynamics, what lifting the rear of the bonnet does is causes the hot air to be swirled around under the bonnet instead of coming out

Did you just angle grind a hole in? How are they held in? Any tips for fitting?

Yeh I just cut a hole with a grinder and used tiger seal to hold them in
