Boot Latch Mechanism Issues

Hi all

My parents had a problem with their seat leon. After reading on here they replaced the boot latch mechanism with another one - second hand and the problem was fixed

That was about two months ago however the problem has returned again

I have said just buy a new one but thought it maybe worth checking the fuse maybe

Does anybody know the fuse number at all???

The boot latch wont lock. I gather its a common fault.

The boot just bounces up when shut......also when opening the boot latch makes a funny noise

I think theres an option to lubricate the latch - but we havent tried that yet
