Boot Struts

Just ordered myself some of the upgraded boot struts (to open the boot from the key). Are they simple enough to replace?

Hi, I've got seat leon mk3 2014 and been looking for rear boot strut upgrades. I've found these on ebay, are they the same as the one's you've purchased? In description it says skoda octavia but noticed the code is 017468.

If you have the correct ones it does not do that, the force is there when you unlock the boot and then
the presure decreases as it get to the top.

My boot struts arrived yesterday, really pleased with them. only took me 10 minutes to change over. You have to fit them upside-down from the standard one's. I can say they are really smooth opening and slows down before open fully. The boot has a lot more resistance closing it but if you want to open boot up fully by key they need to be strong. Definitely worth the upgrade in my opinion.
