Boot Wont Open,

i just got back from iraq and now i cant get into my boot the solanoid seems to be operating but the handle just wont open the boot at all, ive tried all but taking it apart but dont know what to do, can anyone help,

Theres a clip inside thats broken. Need to get back seats down, get in the boot, pull the plastic cover off to fix it.

Search for it, it's a common problem.

pull down seats
remove parcel shelf
unplug the speakers
remove the 4 plastic nuts holding each speaker pod in place and lift off
remove the screw in the boot handle on the inside
remove the 2 screws located behind the little flaps on the inside of the boot lid
grab the boot lid plastic and pull it hard, it will some off
then you can release the boot by pulling the release rod
once opened grease all the moving parts and refit
