Hey guys,

I bought some koni FSD's to fit to my ibiza sport 130pd from ebay.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KONI-FSD-...Car+Make:Seat|Model:Ibiza&hash=item1c0db278c5

Checked the compatibility and it is supposed to fit the 130bhp models however after checking the companies website, the set I bought says it doesn't fit sport, FR or cupra models.

Is this the case? Will I have to return them? Is the suspension really that different in the sports model compared to the standard?

Cheers

So will the shocks I bought fit the car ok? And will the adaptive damping work correctly? Could the reason why the shocks aren't compatible be because of extra weight on the front end of the sport messing with the damping?

Sorry guys not very clued up in the suspension area and taking a stab in the dark.

Cheers

Brilliant. Would you recommend changing the stock springs at the same time? If so any recommendations?

The reason for buying the shocks is to increase the comfort since the ibiza is possibly the worst ride of any car i've ever driven. So i'm not sure if lowering springs are the way the go but willing to listen to all ideas.

Just as a note I have these fitted to my Cupra and they're fantastic. I have them fitted with standard springs..I did have eibachs fitted before and it was dreadful. Ok over small bumps but anything larger and you'd swear the wheel was coming into the cabin. Lasted a month before removing the eibachs and running the standard springs and loved it since.

So purely IMO the FSDS are brilliant and do work - but don't lower on them. I know the blurb says they can work with drops up to 30mm, but mine was only down 25mm and it was honestly crap. Take from that what you will.
