I just got a new brake hose for the front of my cupra r but I don't think it's right.
At the minute there is a small metal brake pipe that comes off the caliper to the hose but the new hose has a banjo end that goes directly on the caliper.

I have been looking online and I think this is for a mk2 Leon but every one lists this hose for my car.
Would appreciate some help

Brembo calipers all have the same inlet and is designed to use an M10/1 banjo fitting, this will be perfect to use.
I can't comment on the length being the same as the Mk2, however it will likely be OK.

once you fit it, check the hose on each lock and make sure it does not rub the wheel/suspension and make sure it does not pull tight

On my brembos there is a metal brake pipe that goes to the actual caliper

I found this picture online it shows the pipe.
Everyone I rang said they only list the one I had but tps list 2 different hoses one being the one I need.
They will be here tomorrow so hopefully they are right

the hose with the banjo fitting will simply replace both sections of the hoses in the picture. If you get stuck, I manufacture braided hoses and can built them to any specification you require.

I could even make a hose with a banjo fitting to the caliper, but having a location to go through the bracket and clip into place :) thus replacing the two sections for a single hose while retaining the original fittings

should be a taper cone fitting

no, the hydraulic inlet thread on Brembo (and most brake calipers) is M10/1 not 1/8npt , the 1/8npt tapered thread is on brake proportioning valves

Can I just say thank Christ for this thread because I was at a complete loose end! Ordered 2 sets and thought both were wrong lol
