If it's built into the radio like a kendwood unit then the dealer will get updates for the navi and if it's not built in update on the PC

Only the kenwood would come with built in navi, only other one would be the portable system one

Kenwood is a dab radio with navi and DVD player built in but working for vag group they are the worst units to buy you will be coming in with Bluetooth, dab reception, navi and screen lag issues, I'd rather buy something a hell of a lot cheaper from halfords then the kenwood

the car is actually the new Toledo, im not particulary worried about Bluetooth etc, just the radio/cd unit would have done me, but as the satellite navigation system is built in, its a bonus I suppose.
I asked the question on the Ibiza forum because there is not a section for the new model Toledo 2012 onwards
thank you for your replies and assistance

The Toledo will have the typical vag 310 or 315 radio in which it's a good radio and vw should inform you about updates that will be on a CD at the dealership
