I've just found that my LC TDi does have one, for the stop/tail at least.
The glowplug warning light flashes.
I was fitting LED lamps and it threw up the warning light, not because of the new lamp but because the connections to the back of the bulb are crap and it wasn't making contact

I have noticed that the brake light bulbs lose contact with the clusters, and I need to re seat the bulbs. Its a pain in the @rse, I tell you. And the rear lights are fused through the parking light fuses, it took me a while to realise that the night before my MOT, I was really frustrated after about a half hour of swapping components around. What was worse was that the local kids were doing a cycling proficiency test right past my car, so I presented an unexpected door flying open hazard to them. Fair play, no-one fell off!
