Hi all, new here so I just wanted to post up a progress thread to refer back to :)

Got myself an 07 Leon Stylance TDI 140 in silver
wont let me post pictures yet, any way around that? haha

Had it remapped at Pro Tune in poulton by johnny (wonderful guy and excellent service would highly recommend) and now its pulling nicely. Also Purchased some JOM coilovers. Wasn't too sure about them because i've been advices against them due to them riding really hard but i thought id give them a shot anyways, can always change in the future.

Got some Genuine BBS CH wheels on the way from scotland (used but at £500 with tyres i couldn't say no)

Managed to steal a BTCC rear bumper with inserts for £135 and have my eye on a full front bumper in the right colour for £100 so i think the kit is the next purchase.

Possible near future mods:

-Xenon/LED lights (would like someones input on this as im abit foggy about the whole xenon bulbs in a reflector light thing).
-Back box delete (Oval tip).
-Toying with the idea of painted black badges but don't want it to look tacky.
-Wind deflectors?
-Custom iPod dock

feel free to chime in with any suggestions

P.s. the standard sport alloys will probably be up for grabs when i get the new wheels on (all good tyres)

You can, but when da police check it, you get a ticket for deep pockets....

Yeah, as far as I am aware it has to be a proper Bi-xenon projector headlight and also has to have a self cleaning system (i.e. headlight washer jets). But I've spoken to a guy in a local bodyshop/auto electrician place who said its a lot more relaxed than it used to be and if you go for a xenon bulb that's not as dazzling like 4300k then you shouldn't get pulled over so long as you're driving normally and your car looks half respectable.

I appreciate he may just be saying that to get some business as he did do HID kits but I might just chance it nonetheless.

Anyone else got any opinions on it?
