Car Play now wont open message or spotify

Hi guys - so up until the other week Car play was working when the cable was connected, now it wont open messages or connect with spotify. It returns an error saying Siri cant connect right now??
Iphone running iOS13.

Ive checked Siri and Carplay phone settings and at a loss as to what to do now.

Anyone any thoughts??

I don't really know much about apple but when I have issues with android auto I install an older version until another update is released.

Have you tried a hard reboot of the infotainment unit. Hold down the power button for about 30 seconds and it will restart. This usually fixes connection problems with CarPlay etc.

Try a proper reboot of your phone and the infotainment

I have to say, I rarely reboot the infotainment when I have issues. Normally resetting the phone fixes it. You can tell iOS is buggier. What happened apples “it just works”

It’s more “it just works so long as your turn it off and on again”

Just an update on this problem.
Apple update to iOS 13.2.3 appears to have solved the bug.

Yes it's nearly always a problem with the latest update on your phone. If it happens again just downgrade to an older stable version.
