Car seriously fc*ked! Help!

Was driving along the ova day and came up to a roundabout. downshifted to 2nd to go and suddenly i jsut lost power it was heavily strugglign for revs big time!. Could JUST about get to 20mph in 2nd!!! . Limped it home and foudn that it idols at around 500rpm but also missfiring alot (both statonary and idol) .....so running on 2 cylinders and not 3 ....O and got the orange light showing the square fingy (transmission or engine i fink? Ant takers on what could hav happend?? All i can think of is spark plug gone?...aint no good on engine...

Limp mode is on!

Could have been many a thing, mostly a sensor (always going!)

Mine did this when a lamba (spelling?!) whent or something, took half the exhaust aswell out or sumet (so the garage said!) all done under warrenty.

Either get someone with VAG-COM to take a look or take it back to a garage asap!

Sounds like a coil pack has given up to me (im trying to fathom what engine it is), i think its a 1.2, hope you aint run it low on oil..lol

Just seems to me now-a-days if 51% of chavs do anything, anyone else of any age, nation, theme!! is called chav.

Mebe e just feels appy talkin in txt

Personally it took me longer to work out how to type that, than my normal type! But I do cut corners, who hasnt used "cos" b4! or b4 b4!

It sounds like what happened to me last year when my Clio suddenly lost power, misfired and sounded like a Trabant. Ignition coils were the culprit then.

Car fixed!!! THe garage sent an AA man roudn and turns out an ignition coil had fryed itself. Simple! Apparently they happen all the time to VWs and Seats

You don't know what the hell's going on when that happens do you? All of a sudden the car just goes mental and you think there's something wrong bigtime, when it's as simple as a small part like a coil.
