Car's been in the garahe for 2 weeks :-(

I've been working away and when I came back it wouldn't start.
My mate has a power pack and we used that, it started, I drove it for 2 minutes and then in stopped again.

It's been in the garage and they've replaced the battery, dizzy cap and rotor arm so far, it still won't start. Apparently it's over fuelling too. Any ideas?

alternator not charging the batery when driving so it would cut out... maybe?
new alternator?

Overfueling, if that, may be related to coolant temp sensor. If this reads low then it will chuck in more juice. Like runnning on permanent choke.

not good, as stated coolant temp sensor will throw more fuel in.
Is the starter motor turning?

Have you tried podging the acellerator? mine wont start but if you give it some gas, it will start, and then stall when you let off lol.

The engine turns over fine and it sparks but just won't start!
Temp sensor is a good idea

fuel pump relay?
in the drivers glove box i think its number18 or 1 but haynes will tell you

my car played up before i bought it (ran on 3 cylinders if it started at all) and they had to get auto electrician out to find the problem.....which turned out to be wiring from the relay

It was an amplifyer for the Dizzy?
