Alright folks, Thought about getting a new cat for my 99 16V (ABF), as mines looking decidedly ropey. Went on the interweb and searched a few online shops, theres loads of choice however they dont like whats on my car!, on mine the cat and downpipe seem to be all one unit and ones for sale are short with a flange bracket at one end?. I did see cat/downpipe units but they are like £200+ whereas single cats are around 90 quid and up, just wondering if theres like 2 models of exhaust on the ABF????Has anyone got any info on this? Cheers in advance TF

original is all in one downpipe but as the frame needs shifting to get it out most replacements are seperate downpipe/cat

i had a link to a site that did a stainless replacement for about £120 for both parts, gimme a sec ill dig it out
