Giving the wheels a clean this afternoon both the centre caps on the drivers side fell out, well the Aluminium cover that sticks to the caps. It looks like the glue that is/was used has given up the ghost, I was able to peel off the old glue and refix using Araldite.

Just a heads up for something to look out for, the covers appear to be OK on the passenger side.

Just noticed that my front offside cap is missing. I’m going to check if I can easily prise the others off to refit (Araldite seems a good choice 👍).
This must be a manufacturing/ material deficiency.

Off-topic a bit, ut I bought some Audi Q5 19" rims as winter rims (I have to use 19" as I have the Brembo brakes) and of course they have a different centre bore (66.5mm vs 57.1mm) to the SEAT rims, and a different size centre cap (70mm), so I'm experimenting. I can remove the 4-rings logo from the Audi caps, and then I'll fill them and spray them (gloss black, to match the colour I'll get the rims refurbed to). I've found a 3-D file online for the Cupra logo, and a friend is printing some samples up. Assuming I can get a decent finish on it, I'll be painting it the Cupra gold/copper and sticking it to the centre caps
