Chrome Boot Strip

Hi All!

I was wondering if anyone has the chrome boot strip on their Alteas? I'm getting one for my Leon and I'm just wondering how it attaches to the car i.e. does it stick or clip on.

If anyone does have it, has it came loose or fallen off??

Seen an Altea with the chrome strip this morning. It looked really well......

Hi there - got one of these last week for my Altea and think it looks great. It sticks on but the adhesive is very strong - it aint budging once on!

Its a bit fiddly to line up but nothing to worry about. Think i'll be getting the front grill one too...

Yes I've had the Chrome boot strip on my Altea since new (August 04) I think it looks great. Sticks on with double sided tape and mine is just lifting a bit at one end after all this time, due for a bit of the impact adhesive treatment I guess.
