Clicking Clutch Fixed..

My EPC light was on with a fault code of Clutch Pedal Switch.

Although i've ordered a new switch from SEAT i thought as i'm bored sitting at home i'd have a look.

After taking off all the black plastic underneath the fuses too see wot i was doing i saw the white PLASTIC SCREW

I touched it and it was loose, well hanging out!!!!!

After a bit of persuation it went in.

Now i have no play in my clutch pedal and no over revving when letting off!!!!

Job done!!! Saved me £7.51 + VAT!!

Only joking about the £7!!!

It looks like my clutch pedal has already bin welded. How many welds does it have normally??? If the standard welds are that SEAT need to employ a new welder as i could of done it better than the monkey who done mine. Atleast it's strong and aint gonna cost loads for a new pedal box which is wot i was starting to think it was after reading some other threads.

Anybody needs a clutch switch, SEAT in gatwick will have one in stock!!!

Will SEAT be off that i've ordered the switch and now i don't need it???

Just took it down the road and the ECP light went out automatically??

Does this normally happen??

I have had an EPC fault on a couple of occasions. Each time its been remedied the orange fook has gone out! So, yes it is "normal"
